MM4006 R e m o t e Mode
MOTION Suite 32 is a set of 3 softwares:
• MM4006 Terminal.
• MM4006 Servo.
• MM4006 XY Draw.
3.2.2 M M 4 0 0 6 Terminal
MM4006 Terminal is an application which permits to communicate with the
Newport MM4006 C o n t r o l l e r. I t o ff e r s t h e p o s s i b i l i t y t o change
communication configuration, and send commands t o the controller
directly, or since a file or a file containing a MM4006 program.
3.2.3 M M 4 0 0 6 Servo
MM4006 Servo is an application which permits t o set P11) servo loop
parameters o f mechanical axes controlled b y t h e Newport MM4006
Controller. It automatically controls the MM4006, reads and calculates all
important dynamic motion parameters. Results are plotted on graphs
corresponding to position, velocity or following error.
3.2.4 M M 4 0 0 6 XY Draw
MM4006 XY Draw is an application which permits to perform the linear and
the circular interpolation of the Newport MM4006 controller. It presents
you a draw area where you can draw complex trajectory with lines and
arcs. It converts the drawing in MM4006 specific commands.
