3.3.3 A x i s Motion Control
Axis configuration
• S w i t c h OFF the controller with the power switch in rear panel and the
STAND-BY b u t t o n in front panel.
• P l u g in the electronic card into axis slot #1 of the controller.
• S w i t c h ON the controller with the power switch in rear panel and the
STAND-BY 1.1111 button in front panel.
• S w i t c h OFF the motor with the MOTOR

button.
• Select the
CONFIG
menu then the
AXES
m e n u .
• P r e s s on the AXIS# k e y to select the axis to be configured.
• P r e s s on key NMI of the keypad of the controller and confirm with the
VALID k e y.
• P r e s s the
SELECT
k e y to select the type of product to be driven.
• W i t h
U P
o r
DOWN
keys, scroll through the list of product types.
• T o select a particular family of product, select the
VALID
k e y.
• G o through the list of models available with the help of the
U P
o r
DOWN
keys.
• T o select a particular model, press the
VALID
k e y.
• Va l i d a t e the Pos. Origin, KP, KI, KI), KS parameters with the help of the
VALID k e y.
• P r e s s
QUIT

• Select the
MODIFY
menu to pour change the parameters of the selected
axis.
• G o through the axis parameters with the help of the
U P
o r
DOWN
keys.
• T o change a parameter, select the
MODIFY
menu.
• P r e s s ° I n t
• Select the
Y E S
k e y to save all axis #1 parameters in the EEPROM.
• T o go back to the main menu press
QUIT

Run
MM4006 Terminal
and configure the communication parameters as
indicated previously.
Enter the following instructions:
MO,WT1000, 10R, 1WS,1TP,1PR 1 , IWS, ITP
To execute the instructions press
ENTER.

: Switch on motor.
: Wait 1 second.
: Search origin on axis #1.
: Wait until end of motion on axis #1.
: Read position on axis #1.
: Cary out relative motion on axis #1.
