Description
T h i s command sets the sample period for the trace function. Refer to the
trace command TM for the description on how to use the trace mode.
NOTE
The sampling is done in increments of the servo loop cycle. Since the
servo cycle is not exactly 0.0003 sec, use the SP? command to read the
actual trace sample interval used.
The value returned with SP? usually differs from the one preset in the
SPnn command because it reflects the real clock used for the timer. For
that reason, the sample period is reported with at least 10 decimal
points.
