Replace the Y Motor Assembly

1. Remove the Left and Right Covers.

(Refer to REP1010)

2. Remove the Rear Paper Guide.

(Refer to REP1040)

3. Remove the Steel Belt.

(Refer to REP1290)

4. Open the Control Box.

(Refer to REP1050)

5. Disconnect connector J119 (YMOT) from the Main Board

Assembly.

6. Remove the Y Motor Assembly. (3 fastening screws)
7. Assembling is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Reference: Since the Y Motor Assembly Cable passes below

the Cartridge Unit, the work will be easier if you
remove the two Cartridge Base screws and push
it back.

1. Carry out the Steel Belt Tensioning Adjustment. (Refer to

REP1550)
