2.14.2 Group Call Pick Up
Description
A station can pick up a call ringing at another station in the same pick-up group. Ringing
intercom calls, incoming CO Lines, recalling CO Lines and transferred CO Lines can be
answered using Grp Call Pick-up if the Stations belong to the same pick-up group (refer to Ref.
A).
Operation
To answer a call ringing at a Station in the same pick-up group,
1. Lift the handset or press the [MON] button.
2. Dial the Group Pick-up code ‘5 6 6’ (Ref. B)
or press the {Group Call Pick-up} button.
To assign a {Group Call Pick-up} button:
1. Press [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Press the Flexible button to be assigned.
3. Type ‘5 6 6’ (refer to Ref. A).
4. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
Consideration

Only ringing intercom calls are subject to Group Call Pick-up. An intercom call to a
station that is in the Handsfree or Privacy Intercom Signaling Mode cannot be accessed
using Station Call Pick-up.

A {CO Line}, {LOOP} or {POOL} button is required to pick-up a CO Line call.

Queue callback and Private line calls cannot be picked up.

A station can answer an intercom call placed to a Door box using Group Call Pick-up.

When several calls are queued at a station or Hunt Group, the pick-up order depends on
PLA Priority (PGM 173).

When CO line calls of the same type are queued, the first queued CO line has priority.

Group Call Pick-up is allowed within the Intercom Tenancy Group. A station may be
permitted to pick up calls to stations in other Intercom Tenancy Group (refer to Ref. B).
