Basic Outbound Line Access
Description
Each station is allowed or denied access to particular CO lines or lines in a CO Group.
Stations may further be limited access by Intercom Tenancy Group (refer to Ref. A)
configurations. Flexible buttons assigned as a CO line or CO Group button, including the Pool
and Loop buttons, provide the DKT user with access to Lines. These buttons function as
below.
CO Line – access the specified CO Line
Pool –access outgoing CO Line from the specified group
Loop – access 1

The System Numbering Plan incorporates codes to access any available CO line, a specific CO
line, or a line from a specific CO Group. As a default,
Dial ‘9’ for any available CO Line
Dial ‘88’ and the CO line number (01 - 36) for a specific CO line
Dial ‘8’ and the CO Group number (01 – 24) for a CO line from the group
Operation
To access a CO line from a DKT,
1. Lift the handset or press the [MON] button.
2. Press the desired CO line, Pool button, or Loop button or
dial the individual CO line, CO Group or the first available CO line code.
To access a CO line from a SLT,
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial the individual CO line, CO Group or the 1st available CO line code.
To assign the [LOOP] button, perform the following Steps:
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button
2. Press the desired Flexible button
3. Press
[TRANS/PGM]
4. Dial 8 4
5. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button to accept changes.
Consideration
An SLT user must use the dial codes to place CO line calls.
A DKT must have an available appearance for incoming or outgoing CO line calls and
may use a button or dial codes to place CO line calls.
When the user dials ‘9’ for any CO line and ‘Override 1st CO Line Group’ is enabled, the
system will search the first CO line Group for an available line. If no Line is available in
the group, the next group is searched until an available CO line is found or all groups,
except group 00, have been searched. If no CO line is available, busy tone is provided
and the user may queue for the next available Line.
