13.6 Attendant Positions
Description
An Attendant receives Attendant calls and provides call coverage of common CO lines,
unanswered CO recall coverage, Day/Night service control and other supervisory services.
The ipLDK provides for up to five (5) stations to be assigned as a member of the Main
Attendant group. The first member is the System Attendant, default is Station 100, which can
be changed but not removed. In addition, each Intercom Tenancy Group can be assigned a
separate Group Attendant to provide Attendant services for the group. If not assigned an
Attendant, the Attendants in the Main Attendant Group provide Attendant service for the
Tenancy group.
Consideration
Only a DKT Station should be assigned as an Attendant, an IP phone cannot be assigned
as an attendant.
A Tenancy Group Attendant only provides services to and affects the operation of CO
lines and stations assigned to the Tenancy group.
