7.1
Conference Room
Description
In addition to ad-hoc conferencing, users may establish a Conference Room. Other internal
and external parties are invited to the conference and can join the conference without further
action by the user who established the room. DID/DISA callers may access a Conference
Room and CO line calls may be transferred to a Conference Room by an Attendant. A
Conference Room can be password (5 digits) protected so that only parties that enter the
password are allowed to join the Conference Room.
When entering or leaving a Conference Room, a Warning tone can be provided to active
Conference Room participants. The entry and exit tone are distinct allowing participants to
determine if a party has entered or left.
Once a Conference Room is activated, it remains active until the user or Attendant closes
(deletes) the room. There are nine (9) Conference Rooms available and each can support 15
participants.
A Flexible button can be assigned to access a Conference Room and will display the status of
the room, On = active, Off = closed, flashing = In use.
Operation
To activate a Conference Room,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] or dial ‘5 6 3’.
2. Dial ‘4 3’.
3. Dial the Conference Room number (1-9).
4. Dial 5-digit password (optional).
5. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button to activate the room.
To deactivate a conference room,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] or dial ‘5 6 3’.
2. Dial ‘4 4’.
3. Dial Conference Room number (1-9).
4. Dial 5-digit password, if assigned.
5. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
To join a conference room from a Station or DISA caller,
1. Dial the Conference Room (571 - 579).
2. Dial the password, if assigned.
To transfer a CO call to a Conference Room,
