Camp-on
Description
When a user dials a busy Station, busy tone is received. The user may leave a Call Back
request (refer to Ref. A) or may camp-on to the busy station. When the user camps on, the
busy station receives a double beep tone as an indication of the call waiting. The waiting user
receives MOH.
Operation
To activate Camp-on with a DSS/BLF button,
1. Press the DSS button for the busy Station.
To activate Camp-on while receiving Intercom busy tone,
1. Dial
‘*’.
To answer a waiting call after receiving Camp-on tone at a DKT,
1. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button; the active call is placed on exclusive hold and the
call waiting is connected.
2. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button, to alternate between parties
To answer a waiting call after receiving Camp-on tone at an SLT,
1. Press and release the hook-switch, Flash.
2. Dial
560.
To return to the original call at an SLT,
1. Press and release the hook-switch, Flash.
2. Dial
560.
Consideration
While in a Conference, receiving a Page or in DND, a Station cannot receive a Call
Waiting (refer to Ref. B, C and D).
The Attendant can override a Station using the Camp-on feature (refer to Ref. E).
If Stop Camp-on Tone is enabled, no camp-on tone is heard by the station receiving the
camp-on and only the [Hold/Save] button LED will flash.
