Managing VMIB Voice Mail 

Description 

After a message is left, the DKT station [Call Back] button flashes and the LCD displays the 
message waiting queue count.    For SLTs, stutter dial tone is received when lifting the handset.   
The ipLDK-60 can be further configured to notify the user with a telephone call announcing the 
new message or an e-mail citing the new messages.    The station may review, save, delete, 
reply or transfer the message to another station.    In addition, DKT users can reply and forward 
messages to other users and rewind the message to playback that portion of the message.  
While in the Mailbox, pressing the ‘*’ button will return to the previous menu and cancel the 
existing operation. 
 

Operation 

To access the VMIB to manage voice messages, 

1.  Press the [Call Back] button or dial ‘5 5 7’. 
2.  If requested, enter the Voice Mail password and ‘#’. 
3.  The user hears the Main Menu   

“To Listen to your Message, press one 
To record your greeting, press two 
To send a message, press three 
For personal options, press four 
To access another mailbox, press pound.” 

4.  Dial 1 and follow Voice instructions to manage your Voice Mails.

5.  At the end of the message, the Manage Mail prompt is played 

To hear the current message, press one, 
To hear the next message, press two, 
To delete the current message, press three, 
To reply to the current message, press five, 
To forward the current message, press six, 
To call the sender, press seven, 
For the main menu, press star 
 

 

Consideration 

  ipLDK supports several types of messages.  When multiple types of messages are 

available to the user, the order of retrieving messages is:
