4.18 Station and Group Call Coverage
Description
This feature permits a user (the covering station) to receive ring and answer calls directed to a
covered station or Station Group. A Flexible button must be assigned at the covering Station
for calls to the covered station or group.
The covered station must activate call coverage and can set a delay before the covering
station(s) receives notification for the incoming call. For Station Group Call Coverage, the
group must have coverage activated. A station may provide Call Coverage for multiple
stations or groups, requiring a separate button for each. Also, multiple stations can provide
Call Coverage for a station or group.
When a covered station or group rings, the {Call Coverage} button LED will flash and the
covering station may receive ring (immediate or delayed) for the call. The covering station can
answer the call using the {Call Coverage} button, terminating ring at other stations. Once
answered, the LED of {Call Coverage} buttons for the station at any covering stations will
extinguish.
