Automatic Park and Page
Description
Outside callers reaching a mailbox are allowed to page the user. The caller is placed in the
highest available Park Orbit (Ref. A). The system sends a page to notify the user of the call
and the Park Orbit where the call is Parked. The user connects to the call by accessing the
Park Orbit. The caller should be instructed to dial the digit ‘8’ to activate the Park and Page
feature.
If the Park recall timer expires while the call is parked, the call will recall to the Attendant.
Operation
To retrieve the Parked call
1. Lift the Handset or press the On/Off button.
2. Dial the announced Park location to retrieve the call.
To record a User Name Greeting,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button or dial ‘563’.
2. Dial ‘6 *’ and follow the voice prompts to record a Name greeting
3. Press the [Hold/Save] button to store the Name greeting.
Consideration
The User Voice Mailbox greeting should instruct the caller to dial ‘8’ to page the user.
A User Name Greeting must be recorded.
The Station must be configured for Park and Page.
Only one call can use the Park and Page feature at a time, a second Park and Page call
will receive the resource limited prompt and returned to the user’s Voice Mailbox.
