Station Speed Dial
Description
Each Station user can store up to 100 frequently used numbers to Station Speed Bins (000 –
099). Each Station Speed Dial consists of up to 24 digits including special function digits.
Operation
To make a call using Station Speed Dial from a DKT,
1. Lift the handset or press the [On/Off] button.
2. Press the [SPEED] button.
3. Dial the Station Speed Dial bin (000 – 099).
To store Station Speed Dial numbers from a DKT,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Press the [SPEED] button.
3. Dial the Station Speed Dial bin (000 – 099).
4. If desired, press the CO line or Group button.
5. Dial the desired telephone number, up to 24 digits including special codes:
Special codes include:
[CALL BACK]
– Insert Pause key
– If stored as the first digit, it will function as Display Security. Otherwise, it will
function as a Pulse to DTMF Switchover.
[DND/FOR]
– If CO Dial Tone Detect is enabled and stored as the first or second
digit, and the accessed CO Line is behind the PBX mode, its function is Dial Tone
Detect. Otherwise, its function is Pause.
[FLASH]
–
If the CO Line is analog, a ‘Flash’ is inserted in the Speed Dial number.
For an ISDN line (refer to Ref. A), when stored as the first digit, the remaining digits
are sent in a keypad facility IE (Information Element) not in the normal Calling Party
Number IE.
6. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
7. If desired, enter the name (Max. 16 characters) using the 2-digit code for each
character.
8. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
9. To store another Speed Dial number, repeat this procedure from Step 3.
To delete a Station Speed Dial bin,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Press the [SPEED] button.
3. Dial the Speed Dial bin number to be erased.
4. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
5. The stored Speed Dial number should be erased from the speed bin.
To display and enter a Speed Dial bin by scrolling,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
