SOS Page 

Description 

The system allows multiple pre-recorded VMIB messages to be used as paging 
announcements.  The user can then quickly send the pre-recorded announcement over the 
assigned Page Zone.    This function is often used to provide an emergency or SOS page. 
 

Operation 

To assign {VMIB SOS Page} at a flexible button, 

1.  Press the [TRANS/PGM] button. 
2.  Press the desired Flexible button. 
3.  Dial the desired Page Zone code, 
4.  Dial Message number (001-070). 
5.  Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button. 

 
To activate VMIB SOS paging: 

1.  Press the assigned {VMIB SOS Page} Flexible button. 

 

Consideration 

  SOS Page is only available to a DKT using a Flexible button assigned for VMIB Page 

Message. 

  The VMIB Page Message for SOS Paging must be recorded by the Attendant before the 

SOS Page button for proper operation. 

  An SOS Page is not restricted by Page Time-out; the entire VMIB Page Message will be 

heard over the paging facilities even if the Page Time-out timer expires.
