Push-to-Talk (PTT) Page 

Description 

The LG-Ericsson WIT-300HE wireless LAN phone incorporates a Push-to-Talk (PTT) page 
facility.    The button can be assigned to access an internal Page zone to send a PTT page to 
stations in the page zone. 
 

Operation 

To assign an internal page zone to the PTT at the WIT-300HE, 

1.  Press the [TRANS/PGM] button. 
2. Press 

‘1#’. 

3.  Dial the desired Page Zone, or ‘0’ to delete the current assignment. 
4.  Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button. 

 
To send a PTT Page at the WIT-300HE, 

1.  Press the PTT button. 
2.  After the Page warning tone, audio from the WIT-300 is sent to the Internal Zone. 
3.  Release the button to terminate the PTT Page. 

 

Consideration 

  Page Time-out is not applied to a Push-to-talk Page. 

  Any Internal Page Zone can be assigned for Push-to-talk.  Conference Page Zones 

cannot be assigned for Push-to-talk. 

  To access PTT paging, the station must be permitted access to system paging 

  A station, which is in DND or busy, will not receive paging announcements.
