Call Transfer, Internal
Description
A user can transfer an active call to another station or Hunt Group within the system. The
transfer can be screened (announced) or unscreened. The transferred call is placed on
Transfer Hold and, if the receiving station is a DKT, the CO line button LED will flash indicating
an Exclusive Hold state.
If the receiving station does not answer the call in the Transfer Recall time, the transferring
station and the transferred station will receive recall. If the call still remains unanswered, the
attendant will also receive a recall for the Attendant Recall time. After that, the transferred call
will be disconnected.
In addition, a DKTU user can transfer a call directly to a Voice Mail box.
Operation
To transfer an active call from a DKT unscreened,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button, the active call is placed in Transfer Hold and
intercom dial tone is received.
2. Dial the station number to receive the transfer.
3. Replace the handset or go on-hook to complete the transfer.
To transfer an active call from a DKT screened,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button, the active call is placed in Transfer Hold and
intercom dial tone is received.
2. Dial the station number to receive the transfer.
3. When the station answers, announce the call transfer.
4. Replace the handset or go on-hook.
To transfer an active call to a Voice Mailbox from a DKTU,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button, the active call is placed in Transfer Hold and
intercom dial tone is received.
2. Press the [CALLBACK] button.
3. Dial the station number to receive the transfer.
4. Replace the handset or go on-hook to complete the transfer.
To transfer an active call from an SLT unscreened,
1. Press and release the hook-switch, the active call is placed in Exclusive Hold and
intercom dial tone is received.
2. Dial the station number to receive the transfer.
3. Replace the handset and go on-hook to complete the transfer.
To transfer an active call from an SLT screened,
1. Press and release the hook-switch, the active call is placed in Exclusive Hold and
intercom dial tone is received.
