10.4 Door Phone
Description
A convenient Door Phone can be connected to the system and stations assigned to receive
notification when the Call button on the Door Phone is pressed.
Operation
To place a call from the Door Phone box,
1. Press the [CALL] button.
2. The assigned stations will ring.
To call an Door Phone,
1. Lift the handset or press the [On/Off] button.
2. Dial station number of Door Phone.
3. After the beep tone, announce the call.
To answer a Door Phone box call from a DKT,
1. Press the Intercom Door Box flexible button at the DKTU
To answer a Door Phone call from an SLT
1. Lift the handset.
Consideration

The Door Phone is an intercom device only, it cannot receive calls from a CO line and
cannot be a party in a conference (refer to Ref. B) call.

A Door Phone can be assigned to receive Page announcements (refer to Ref. C).

To receive a Door Phone call, the station must be assigned ICM Box Signaling.

After the ICM Box timer expires, an unanswered Door Phone call is terminated.

In certain regions TELKOM or ISRAEL, for an SLT to receive Door Box signals, a DSS
button must be assigned to the SLT as well as ICM Box Signaling. In other regions, the
SLT need only be assigned ICM Box Signaling to receive Door Box Signals.

SLT and WHTU can receive only one call from intercom box.
