16.6 Common Network Services
An array of features is supported over the network employing the same operational procedures
as the ipLDK itself. Common features supported include:
Station
calling
Call
Transfer
Conference
Camp-on
Call
Back
CLI Message Wait
Call
Forward
In addition, features such as DND and Absent Text Messaging are supported between
networked ipLDK systems.
16.6.1
Network Absent Text Message
Description
Absent Text Message (refer to Ref. A) is available within the networking connection
environment. If a user activates Absent Text Message, the message is displayed to callers,
networked or local, using a DKT with LCD.
Consideration
Absent Text Messaging is only available to ipLDK systems within the network.

16.6.2
Network Call Back (Call Completion)
Description
When calling to a networked station that is busy, the user can leave a Call Back request.
When the busy station returns to idle, the station activating the Call Back is called. Upon
answer, the ipLDK will place a call to the originally busy station. Network Call Back operates
in the same manner as Call Back (refer to Ref. A) within an ipLDK and is subject to the
conditions associated with Call Back.
From a network perspective, ipLDK employs H.450 Call Completion, Busy Subscriber (CCBS)
protocol to provide call back capabilities. ipLDK supports the Connection Retain mode in the
H.450 (CCBS) protocol.
Consideration
Voice Mail is not available to networked intercom calls.
