Auto Call Number Redial (ACNR)
Description
If a CO line call destination is busy or no-answer, the number can be redialed automatically
using ACNR. The system will retry the number based on the assigned ACNR Retry counter,
default is three (3) attempts.
Operation
To use ACNR while receiving a busy/no-answer indication on a CO line call,
1. Press the [REDIAL] button or ACNR softkey.
2. Replace the handset or go on-hook.
3. The system will automatically retry the call at programmed intervals.
4. When the called party answers, lift handset.
To cancel ACNR, perform the following Steps:
1. Press the flashing [REDIAL] button or Stop softkey.
OR
2. Lift the handset or press the [Speaker] button during an ACNR call attempt.
Consideration
ACNR is only available to DKTs with a [REDIAL] button or ACNR softkey. Use code ‘97’
to assign the Redial feature to a Flexible button
Analog CO Lines must provide call progress tones so the system can detect the status of
the CO line during the ACNR attempt.
If the originally used CO line used to place the call is busy, an ACNR call is placed on a
CO line from the same group. If no line is available, the system will restart the call
attempt after the ACNR delay time without incrementing the ACNR Retry Counter.
