9 Select the option you want. The default is
Overwrite whole file with a single
random char
, the other option is
Overwrite every single byte with diff rand char
.
10 Scroll to the bottom of the page and click
Save
to save your settings.
Alternatively, click
Reset
to rest all settings on this page to their
default values.
Backing up Files
It is a good idea to back up your address book, templates, AMC profiles,
and mailboxes on a client PC. This makes them available to restore later
or upload to another controller.
Note: Depending on the amount of information stored, the process of
creating a backup file may take several minutes.
1 On the Administration tab, click the Maintenance submenu.
2 Click the
Backup
link.

3 Click the
Enable
checkbox to enable daily backups. You can create an
immediate backup by clicking the individual
Create New File
buttons in
each section below. Enabling daily backups automates the process.
4 If you have enabled daily backups, enter the time at which the
backups should begin in the hour and minute text boxes.
5 Click the
Save
button in the Daily Backup section to save your daily
backup instructions.
