On networks running TCP/IP, you can also perform these functions
using the controller embedded web utility, TopAccess.

Install client software on your workstation, including the document
monitoring utility, TopAccessDocMon, and applicable printer drivers,
filters, or PPD files.
You or your users can use the CD or TopAccess to install client
software on individual workstations.
Hardware Installation
Digital Copier
The TOSHIBA Electronic Document Processing System is installed by
your certified TOSHIBA service technician usually prior to and
independent of the network implementation.
Controller
Your TOSHIBA service technician also installs the controller, which is
physically mounted on the back of the digital copier and connected to the
PCI bridge board.
Network Interface Card
The controller ships with an embedded Ethernet NIC. To connect the
controller to an Ethernet network, insert the network cable into the
socket on the card.
To support a wireless LAN, you can install a Cisco Aironet 350 PCI
802.11b Wireless NIC.
Fax Option (GL-1010 Only)
Installation of the fax option in the GL-1010 controller is described in
Installing the Fax Option (GL-1010) on page 11.
Network Configuration
Once the service technician has finished installing the controller and
copier hardware, you can configure the controller software.
