Configuring SMTP Server Settings
1 Log in as an administrator.
2 Click the Administration tab.
3 Click the Setup subtab.
4 Click the
E-mail
link. The E-mail page opens.
5 Enter the SMTP
Server IP Address
.
6 Enter the
Mail Domain Name
. For example, GL.123.net or ABC.123.com.
7 Enter the
SMTP Port Number
.
8 Enable or disable
SMTP Authentication
.
9 If enabled, enter a
Username
and
Password
. The following rules apply:

Enabled Enabled Prompts user for SMTP Username and SMTP
Password. The user name and password are
defaulted, but can be changed. They are
authenticated before the scan process begins.
Enabled Disabled Prompts user for SMTP Username and SMTP
Password. The user name and password are
defaulted, but can be changed. They are
authenticated before the scan process begins.
Disabled Enabled Prompts user for SMTP Username and SMTP
Password. The defaults are blank. The user
can enter the user name and password and
they are authenticated before the scan process
begins.
Disabled Disabled Does not prompt the user for the SMTP
Username and SMTP Password. No
authentication occurs before the scan process
begins.
