On the Administration tab, click the
Setup
subtab. The Setup page
opens.

Click the
Wireless Network
link. The Wireless Network page opens.

In the DDNS area, click the down arrow beside the
Update DNS
Dynamically
pull-down list box.

Select
Enable
to enable DDNS or
Disable
to disable DDNS.

Enter the host name of the DNS server in the
Host Name
field. This field
is disabled if DDNS is disabled. The default value for this field is the
MAC address of the controller.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click
Save
to save your
settings.
Alternatively, click
Reset
to reset all settings on this page to the default
values.

Reboot the controller for the changes to take effect.
Configuring SMB Settings
If you are using the SMB networking protocol for any wireless network
traffic involving the controller, you must enable the SMB protocol on the
wireless NIC. The SMB protocol is enabled by default. If you are not using
SMB for any wireless network traffic, disabling the SMB protocol on the
wireless NIC reduces overhead and improves efficiency.

Log in as an administrator.

In the SMB area of the Wireless Network page, click the
Protocol
drop-
down list.

Select
Enable
to enable the SMB protocol.

In the
Device Name
field, enter the controller name.

Enter the name of the
Workgroup
the controller belongs to.

Enter the address of the
Primary WINS Server
.

Enter a
WINS Scope ID
for the controller.
10 To set the controller as a master browser, click the
Master Browser
drop-
down list and select
Enable
.
11 Click
Save
.
