Editing existing templates
Deleting templates
Templates Table
This table has six columns:
Checkmark:
check the boxes in this column to select templates.
Padlock:
a padlock icon in this column means the template is
password protected. If you try to edit or delete the template, a
Password popup opens.
Icon:
shows the icon displayed for each template on the copier
control panel.
Template Number:
displays the template number for the specific
template.
Template Name:
displays the name of each template.
Agent:
lists the scan transfer agent used by each template.
You can sort the table by
Template Name
or by
Template Number
. The default
sort sequence is in ascending order of
Template Number
, indicated by an up
arrow in the column heading. To sort by name, click the
Template Name
heading.
Controls
To create, edit, or delete public templates, you must be logged in as an
administrator. If you are using TopAccess in end-user mode, the
New
,
Edit
,
and
Delete
buttons are hidden for the Public template group.
Template Groups:
click this link to create, edit, or delete template
groups. Alternatively, you can create a new group when creating a
new template.
Group:
to view templates in another group, click the down arrow and
select the group.
New:
click this button to open the New Template page.
Edit:
this button is enabled when you select a single template in the
table. Click it to edit the selected template.
Delete:
this button is enabled when you select one or more templates
in the table. You can delete multiple templates if they are not
password protected. You must delete templates with passwords one
at a time. When you click this button to delete the selected
template(s) a confirmation message opens.
