Cleaning

Reinstalling the Suction System

Reconnecting the Suction System

The optional aspiration system for the Fabius MRI 
consists of an suction regulator and a suction 
bottle. The suction regulator is attached to a holder, 
which is fastened on the side channel of the anes-
thesia device. The suction bottle desired by the 
customer is attached to a separate swivel rail on the 
side channel.

Attach the carrier arm of the suction system on 
the side channel on the side of the anesthesia 
device.

Mount the suction regulator onto the bracket.

z

Reprocess the suction bottle according to the 
instructions for use included with the bottle.

Attach the suction bottle on the swivel rail.

Depending on the aspiration system used:

With use of AIR or O

2

 as driving gas:

z

Connect the air connection hose of the suction 
system on the air exhaust of the gas supply 
block (optional) or directly on the gas supply 
line.

For vacuum aspiration:

z

Connect the vacuum hose of the suction system 
directly on the gas supply line. 

Make sure that the suction system is ready for ope-
ration according to the included Instructions for
Use.
