Calibrating the Oxygen Sensor
To calibrate the oxygen sensor correctly, make sure
it is exposed only to room air during the entire cali-
bration period. The oxygen sensor should be cali-
brated as part of the daily preoperative setup of the
anesthesia equipment.
The oxygen sensor can be calibrated during
Standby as described in “Calibrate O2 Sensor” on
page 154.
To avoid leakage, remove the oxygen sensor
assembly from the inspiratory valve dome, and
insert the valve dome plug into the dome.
To calibrate the oxygen during operation, follow the
procedure below:

Setup
« key on the front panel. The
Setup window appears at the bottom of the
screen.

Press the »
Calibrate O2 Sensor
« soft key.

The calibration instruction window replaces the
Setup window. Follow the directions provided.
