Detail Image failure may occur on extra heavy paper fed from the Multi-purpose Tray using the Media
Adjustment kit-A1.
To collectively set the paper allotted voltage, fixing control temperature and ITOP control
temperature at the time of secondary transfer for extra heavy paper.
When 1 is set, the specified values* are applied to all the setting values for extra heavy paper.
Even after the application of the specified values, they can be changed manually.
* For details, refer to the Installation Procedure for Media Adjustment kit-A1.
Use Case When installing the Media Adjustment kit-A1
Adj/Set/Operate Method 1) Enter the setting value, and then press OK key.
2) Turn OFF/ON the main power switch.
3) Execute auto gradation adjustment (full adjustment).
Caution When changing the setting value from 0 to 1, all the corresponding setting values are overwritten
with the specified values. Therefore, be sure to back up (write down) the setting values as needed.
Display/Adj/Set Range 0 to 1
0: Not used, 1: Set the specified values

DF-WLVL1 1 White level adj in book mode: color
Detail To adjust the white level for copyboard scanning automatically by setting the paper which is usually
used by the user on the Copyboard Glass.
Use Case
- When replacing the Copyboard Glass/Scanner Unit
- When clearing the RAM data of the Reader Unit
Adj/Set/Operate Method
1) Set paper on the Copyboard Glass.
2) Select the item, and then press OK key.
Caution Be sure to execute DF-WLVL2 in a row.
Display/Adj/Set Range During operation: ACTIVE, When operation finished normally: OK!
