Configure and Start the Kinetix 5700 Drive System

Enter 2198 to narrow your choices and select your 2198-

-ERS4 inverter as appropriate for your hardware
configuration.

Click Create.
The New Module dialog box appears.

Configure the new drive.
a. Type the drive Name.
b. Select an Ethernet Address option.
In this example, the Private Network address is selected.
c. Enter the address of your 2198-
xxxx
-ERS
x
inverter.
In this example, the last octet of the address is 6.
d. Click Advanced if using network address translation with safety
connection to add drive module configured IP address.
