3.13.5 Replacing Take-Up Unit Control Board Assy
CAUTION
• When replacing take-up unit, unplug the AC inlet cable and leave it for a while
before operation.
If operating while the AC inlet is still plugged in, it may damage the board or may
give an electrical shock to the operator.
• When handling board, do not touch the elements on the board with bare hands.
The elements may be damaged by static electricity.
(1) Removing Board Chassis
1. Remove take-up scroller.
2. Remove tension arm.

3. Remove take-up unit.

4. Remove the screws (4 pieces) retaining board chassis on chassis (out).
5. Remove take-up motor Assy cable, take-up ON sensor relay Assy, and take-up OFF sensor relay
Assy from the connector on take-up control board Assy that came out.
6. Remove board chassis.
7. To reassemble the unit, reverse the removal procedure.
