Replacing Cap Head Assy

Replacing Procedure For Maintenance Part: Cap Head Assy.
This part will be referred to as the Cap Head. in this manual.
1. Remove I/H Cover.

2. Remove Side Cover R.
"3.2.2 Remove Side Cover R" p.3-8
3. Move the Carriadge to the opposite side of origin.
"3.7.1 How To Release Carriage Lock" p.3-98
4. Shift cap slider toward the direction of the arrow shown below. Remove the protruding portion of
cap slider from the frame cap groove.
5. Remove cap slider from frame cap.
6. While pushing cap head toward the direction of A, shift toward the direction of B shown below.
7. Unhook cap slider and lift up toward the direction of C shown below.
8. Remove cap tubes (3 pieces) from cap head.
9. Replace cap head.
