4.10 Capping Position Adjustment VJ1324E-M-02
(1) If it feels like your fingers have touched slider:
CR return position should be finalized at 0.1mm lower than the parameter point where the print head
has the first contact with the cap slider. Adjust the position as follows.
1. Adjust the parameters -0.1mm from “ Check: Adjustment " - “ Adj: CR Return " - “ CR Return:
Input ” of self-diagnosis mode.
2. Press “Enter” from “ Check: Adjustment " - “ Adj: CR Return " - “ CR Return: Check ” of self-
diagnosis mode.
3. Check if it feels like your fingers have touched slider when the right side of the print head touches
the cap slider. If it does not feel like they have touched it, adjustment is complete.
NOTE
It it still feels like your fingers have touched cap slider, repeat the steps 1 to 3 until your
fingers do not touch it.
(2) If it does not feel like your fingers have touched slider.

1. Adjust the para0.1mm from “ Check: Adjustment " - “ Adj: CR Return " - “ CR Return:
Input ” of self-diagnosis mode.
2. Press “Enter” from “ Check: Adjustment " - “ Adj: CR Return " - “ CR Return: Check ” of self-
diagnosis mode.
3. Check if it feels like your fingers have touched slider when the right side of print head touches cap
slider. If it feels like they have touched it, proceed to the step 11.
NOTE
If it still does not feel like your fingers have touched the cap slider, repeat the steps 1 to 3
until your fingers touch it.
4. Adjust parameters -0.1mm from “ Check: Adjustment " - “ Adj: CR Return " - “ CR Return: Input ”
of self-diagnosis mode
NOTE
CR return position should eventually be set to 0.1mm lower from the position with the
parameters of the first contact of print head and cap slider.
