Replacing Wiper Assy

T I P

Replacing Procedure For Maintenance Part: Cleaner Head Assy.
This part will be referred to as the Wiper in this manual.

Remove I/H Cover.

"3.2.1 Removing I/H Cover" p.3-7

Remove Side Cover R.

"3.2.2 Remove Side Cover R" p.3-8

Move the Carriage to the opposite side of origin.

"3.7.1 How To Release Carriage Lock" p.3-98

Remove wiper from hook in the wiper Assy holder by using tweezers, and lift it from the holder
upward.

NOTE

To remove wiper, use tweezers to unhook the lower hook of wiper.

Replace wiper.

To reassemble unit, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE

When removing wiper, note the following.

• Do not touch wiper with your bare hands.
• Make sure that wiper is not contaminated with dust or oil etc.
•

Mount wiper with the point of wiper facing on your right side

• Insert wiper into holder to the full depth securely and hook it.
