4.2 Program Editing
This is used to edit (add, erase, change) the machining programs in the NC memory, memory card (CF card) or USB
memory and to create new programs.
This function is used for three types of program: machining program, MDI program and fixed cycle program.
Press the main menu [Edit] key to display the program found when performing an operation search (MDI program in
MDI mode).
There are two types of editing available: regular editing and mass-editing. The specification and the limitation are
different between regular editing and mass-editing.
The conditions and the maximum edit size of mass-editing are as follows.
Check display type
Enables to edit a program confirming the program check screen.
Multi-program display type
Enables to edit two programs using left and right editing areas.
G-code guidance display type
Enables to edit a program referring to the G code guidance.
Playback display type
Enables to edit program trying sample machining.
Conditions of mass-editing
Maximum edit size
- Storage location of the opened machining program is memory card.

- The size of the file is 0.5MB or more.
CAUTION
The program including a character of any language other than the display language is not correctly
displayed. Do not edit such a program. Any part of the program other than the comment part may also be
changed if edited.
