5.8 Data Sampling Screen

(2) PLC device designation methods
Designate "/" at the head and then designate the PLC device name.
If a word device is used, the size designation is required subsequently. Bit designation is also possible.
The designation methods are as listed below.
The format of output data follows the setting of output type (0: decimal / 1: hexadecimal).
The number of output digits for a word device of hexadecimal output varies depending on the size designation (S: 4
digits, D: 8 digits, or Q: 16 digits).

Designation method
Description
/PLC device name
Only for bit device. 1 bit data is output.
/PLC device name, size
Only for word device.
Designate S, D, or Q for size.
S: Single Word: 2 byte (16 bit) data is output.
D: Double Word: 4 byte (32 bit) data is output.
Q: Quad Word: 8 byte (64 bit) data is output.
/PLC device name, size, bit
Only for word device.
Designate bit number 0 to 63 (decimal).
Designated bit is output to the position of bit 0.
