(b) Simple operation mode 1
If the parameter "#8957 T meas (L)-Simple mode" is "1", designate the offset No. to write the compensation amount
when pressing the [Offset write] menu.
(Example) Carrying out tool measurement for offset No.3, X axis and Z axis

Select the tool to be measured with a manual
numerical value command. (Refer to "3.10 Manual
Numerical Value Command" for details.)
The tool to be measured is selected.

Execute cutting in the longitudinal direction.(For Z
axis, execute end-face cutting.)

Press the address key of the axis to measure or the
[Measure X] menu, without retracting the tool from
the cutting end point.
The measure value is memorized. The memorized value is
displayed at "Measure value", and the cursor moves to "Work
meas".
The operation message "Input workpiece measurement value"
displays.

To measure the other axes at the same time, repeat
(2) to (3).
The measurement values of the selected axes are recorded
and displayed at "Measure value". The cursor will not move
from the top line.
(5)
Retract the tool and measure the workpiece.
(6)
Set the workpiece measurement result in "Work
meas".
Example) 10 [INPUT]
The value 10 is set in the top line of "Work meas".
If there are two or more axes to measure, the cursor moves
down to the next line.
(Note) Compensation amount is written in diameter value for
diameter command, or in radius value for radius command.
