Appendix 7.18 DeviceNet-related Operation Messages
Message
Description
Cannot connect to external PLC link
The external PLC link screen cannot be displayed because the Q series
extension base is not connected.
This unit cannot set parameter
Parameters cannot be set because the selected slot’s unit type is other than
DeviceNet.
Saving to F-ROM
Indicates that saving to DeviceNet unit's Flash ROM is in progress by the saving
to the Flash ROM operation.
Saving to F-ROM complete
Indicates that saving to DeviceNet unit’s Flash ROM by the saving to Flash ROM
operation is completed.
Parameter error
An error occurred as a result of parameter check when saving the parameters to
the Flash ROM by the saving to Flash ROM operation.
Refer to the error code on “ErrInfo(Master)” or “ErrInfo(Slave)” , and correct the
parameters. After correcting them, execute the Saving to Flash-ROM operation
again.
Execute saving to F-ROM ?(Y/N)
After changing the setting data, this message is displayed if trying to change to
the screen other than DeviceNet parameter screen without saving to the Flash
ROM.
[Y] or [INPUT]: Execute the saving operation
[N]: Saving operation will not be executed
Clearing F-ROM
Indicates that the clearing the Flash ROM operation by the clearing Flash ROM
operation is in progress.
F-ROM clear complete
Indicates that the Flash ROM clearing by the Flash ROM clear operation is
completed.
F-ROM clear error
An error occurred while clearing the DeviceNet unit's Flash ROM by the Flash
ROM clear operation. Execute the Flash ROM clear operation again. If this
message persists, it might be due to a breakdown of the DeviceNet unit. Replace
the unit.
Executing auto configuration
Indicates that the automatic configuration by the automatic configuration
execution operation is in progress.
Auto configuration complete
Indicates that the automatic configuration by the automatic configuration
execution operation is completed.
Auto configuration error
Automatic configuration operation is not properly completed although the
automatic configuration start up operation is executed. (Time-out occurred.)
Start up the automatic configuration again after confirming the devices are
connected properly.
Update complete
Indicates that the update for display is completed after reading the parameters
from the buffer memory again.
Designated node number not found
Designated node number is not in the parameter as a result of search.
Saving to F-ROM error
An error occurred while saving to the Device Net unit's Flash ROM by the Saving
to the Flash ROM operation is in progress. Execute the saving to Flash ROM
operation again. If this message persists, it might be due to a breakdown of the
DeviceNet unit. Replace the unit.
