Change Picture Message settings
When you send a Picture Message message, an SMS notification message will
first be sent to the recipient, while your Picture Message will be temporarily
stored on an Picture Message server of T-Mobile. When others send you a
Picture Message, similarly, the Picture Message will be stored on the Picture
Message server until you retrieve it. Hence, your Ameo must be configured with
the location of the Picture Message server for you to be able to send and receive
Picture Message on your Ameo.
When you purchase your Ameo, it is already preset with T-Mobile’s Picture
Message server setings. If you accidentally lost the preset settings or you
changed to another wireless service provider, follow the steps below to configure
Picture Message settings.
To configure Picture Message settings
1. Tap Start > Messages > Messaging .
2. Tap Menu > Tools > Options .
3. Tap MMS in the accounts list to configure settings. The MMS Configuration
screen appears.
4. In the Preferences tab, select or clear the provided check boxes according
to your needs. You can choose to keep track of your Picture Messages,
retrieve messages immediately, accept or reject messages, and request a
delivery or read receipt. You can also specify a resolution for images you
send and message delivery attempts.
5. Tap the Servers tab and check if your Ameo is preset with Picture Message
server settings.
