LIGHT SWITCH
1. Headlamp High Beam
To turn on the headlamp high beam, push the lever towards
the instrument panel with the headlamp low beam on. The
headlamp high beam indicator in instrument panel comes on
when the headlamp high beam is turned on.
Driving with high beam headlamp disturbs the approaching vehicle’s vis-
ibility for safe driving. Use the high beam headlamp only during very
dark situations when it is very hard to see the road.

3. Passing
To flash the high beam, pull the lever towards the steering
wheel and release it. The lever will return to the normal
position when released. The high beam headlights stay on as
long as you hold the lever.
Battery Saver (Automatically turns off the lights)
To prevent the battery from discharging, the warning buzzer
sounds when a driver remove the ignition key from the ignition
switch and open the door with the tail lamps on. The tail lamps
are turned off when the door is closed. And, the tail lamps
come on again when the ignition key is inserted into the igni-
tion switch.

2. AUTO Light
Headlamps and tail lamps will automatically come on or off
according to the ambient illumination intensity when the light
switch is at “AUTO” .
• Do not place any objects blocking the sensor. Do not clean the sen-
sor with detergent or wax.
• In a foggy, snowy, rainy, or cloudy day, be sure to use manual mode.
The turning on or off time of the lamps varies depending on the climate,
season, or circumstances.
• The sun proof coating that can affect the illumination intensity inside
the vehicle may cause the malfunction of the lighting system.
