1. Open the glove box.
Replace the air conditioner filter when
• Unpleasant odor is generated at first operation after long
unused period.
• Cooling and blowing capacity are decreased.
Replace the air conditioner filter at every 10,000 km of driving.
However, if the vehicle is operated under severe conditions
such as dusty road, unpaved road, and excessive air condi-
tioner and heater operation, shorten the replacement interval.

2. Remove the glove box from
dash panel by moving both
holders to arrow direction.
3. Remove the filter
cover while push-
ing the holder to
arrow direction.
5. Slightly move the
second filter to
left side and pull
it out.
4. Pull out the first
filter.

6. Replace the filters with new ones. Install in the reverse or-
der of removal. Make sure that the filters are facing correct
direction.

The arrow should face upward.
The arrow should face downward.
• Do not apply excessive force to the holders when removing the
glove box. It may cause a deformation of holders and results in a
loose installation.
• Replace both air conditioner filters at a time and pay attention to
the installing direction.
