DTC P0103 (MZI-3.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position (Engine off).
z
Clear the DTC from the PCM
memory using the M-MDS.
z
Start engine and warm it up
completely.
z
Is same DTC present?
No
Go to the next step.

Yes

DTC P0103
MAF circuit high input
DETECTION
CONDITION
z
The MAF sensor circuit is monitored by the PCM for high air flow (or voltage) inp
through the CCM. If during KOEO, or KOER, the air flow (or voltage) changes ab
a maximum calibrated limit, the test fails.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
z
Short to power supply in wiring harness between MAF sensor terminal D and PCM
terminal 1AN
z
MAF sensor malfunction
z
Connector or terminal malfunction
