INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR NO.4
CONNECTOR FOR POOR
CONNECTION
z
Turn the ignition switch off.
z
Disconnect the fuel injector No.4
connector.
z
Inspect for poor connection (such as
damaged/pulled-out pins,
corrosion).
z
Are there malfunction?
Yes
Repair or replace suspected part, then go
to Step 8.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR FOR
POOR CONNECTION
z
Turn the ignition switch off.
z
Disconnect the PCM connector.
z
Inspect for poor connection (such as
damaged/pulled-out pins,
corrosion).
z
Is there malfunction?
Yes
Repair or replace suspected part, then go
to Step 8.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR NO.4
POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR
OPEN CIRCUIT
z
Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position (Engine off).
z
Measure the voltage between fuel
injector No.4 connector terminal B
and body ground.
z
Is the voltage
B+
?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace suspected part, then go
to Step 8.

INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR NO.4
SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
CIRCUIT
z
Inspect continuity between fuel
injector No.4 terminal A (wiring
harness-side) and PCM terminal
2BH (wiring harness-side).
z
Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace suspected part, then go
to Step 8.

INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR NO.4
Yes
Replace the fuel injector No.4, then go
to the next step.
