Reprogram the vehicle ID using the M-
MDS, then go to the next step.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF
DTC P0602 HAS BEEN
COMPLETED
z
Verify that all disconnected
connectors are reconnected.
z
Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position (Engine off).
z
Clear the DTC from the PCM
memory using the M-MDS.
z
Perform the "KOEO and KOER
self-test".

Retrieve DTCs using the M-MDS.
z
Is the PENDING CODE for this
DTC present?
Yes
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.

external items that can cause this DTC.

Reprogramming

Battery terminal corrosion

Open circuit between battery positive terminal and PCM terminal 1BB

Connector or terminal malfunction
