4.07.3 Exporting in FCM Format
•
The FCM format is used by the Brother ScanNCut models. To export a project, go to
File>Export
and, in
the drop down menu, change from
SVG(* .svg)
to
ScanNCut (*.fcm).
After clicking on
Save
, the FCM file
will be located in the folder you chose in the
Save As
window.

There is also a batch SVG-to-FCM converter available in SCAL. Go to
File>FCM Batch Convert
and the
following window will open. Note that you have the option to convert entire folders of SVG files at one time:

PLT files were originally developed for HP plotters. They are also used by some of the cutters outside of the
hobby world. The
Export Options
for PLT are as follows:
