Read and complete the steps in 

Sections 11.03.

  The manual calibration for the camera needs to be 

completed before attempting to do automatic PNC applications. 

 

Record your camera calibration settings! It is very common for those settings to resort to defaults during 
software updates and if you use other cutters with SCAL. 

 

Make sure you have updated SCAL to version 4.068 or later. 

 

Make sure you have updated C3 to version 0.5.57 or later.  

(1)  Due to a current bug, you need to change the Camera offset values in C3 before using Auto PNC in SCAL. 

Open C3 and click on the

 Settings

 tab. In the 

Basic settings

 window, change the 

Units

 to 

Inches

.  Then 

click on 

Apply Changes

: 

 

(2)  Click on 

Machine settings

 and please record your current camera offsets in case an update to the bug 

issue is resolved.  Then change the 

X offset for electronic eye 

to 0.837 and 

Y offset for electronic eye

 to 

0.224 as shown below, even though these are not your camera offsets. Then click on 

Apply changes
