The start and end of a closed shape are not matching up.
If the gap is very small, verify that you have an
Overcut
set (refer to
Section 2.03.10)
.
For wider gaps, make sure the two outer pinch wheel locations are being used AND the pinch wheels
are clearly centered under the grey rectangles above the pinch wheels.
Make sure the mat can travel freely and isn’t running into a cord, a wall, or any other firm object which
might cause the mat to shift.
Follow the recommended
Cut Speed
for the material being cut. If the speed is too fast, the mat will shift
because the blade cannot cut the material fast enough.
Make sure the blade isn’t cutting too deeply into the mat which can cause the mat to be caught up by
the blade.

My Force isn’t level. It leans slightly to one side and my cuts are uneven.
The Force doesn’t need to be perfectly level in order to get even cuts.
Instead, try increasing
the
CD/ED
by 5 and do not use the middle pinch wheel. Only use the two outside pinch wheels,
positioned under the far left and far right gray rectangles.

S
uddenly, I’m hearing a clunking/stuttering sound during a cut.
This is the sound that results when the blade is being forced through a material much faster than the
material can be cut. First, try reducing the
Cut Speed
by increment of 10 or more. It might also be
necessary to use more passes and a lower
Start Depth
.

The fold down table has red streaks on it. This seems to be the ink from the mat. What do I do?
This is addressed in
Section 1.10
of the
C3 User Manual.

The rollers are ripping the top layer of my material.
It’s important to keep the rollers clean of adhesive. Use Un-Du or Goo Gone or even isopropyl alcohol to
thoroughly clean the wheels.
