Overtorque Detection 1
A fault occurred on the machine.
Example: The machine is locked.
Examine the machine and remove the cause of the fault.
The parameters are incorrect for the load.
Adjust the overtorque detection parameters.
Note:
•
Detected if the motor current and torque exceeded the value set in
S6-02 [Overtorque Detection Level 1]
for longer than
S6-03 [Overtorque Detection Time 1]
.
•
Do a Fault Reset to clear the fault.
•
Set the conditions that trigger the fault using
S6-01 [OverT Detect Operation Select 1]
.

Overtorque Detection 2
A fault occurred on the machine.
Example: The machine is locked.
Examine the machine and remove the cause of the fault.
The parameters are incorrect for the load.
Adjust the overtorque detection parameters.
Note:
•
The drive detects this fault if the motor current and torque are more than the value set in
S6-05 [Overtorque Detection Level 2]
for longer than
S6-06 [Overtorque Detection
Time 2]
.
•
Do a Fault Reset to clear the fault.
•
Set the conditions that trigger the fault using

Overload Detection (oL5)
A fault occurred on the machine.
Example: Overload occurred.
Examine the machine and remove the cause of the fault.
The parameters are incorrect for the load.
Adjust the overload detection parameters.
Note:
•
Detects the fault in these conditions:
–
The drive detects this fault if the motor current and torque are more than the value set in
S5-02 [OverL Detect Operation Select 1]
for longer than
S5-03 [Overload
Detection Time 1]
.
–
The drive detects this fault if the motor current and torque are more than the value set in
S5-05 [OverL Detect Operation Select 2]
for longer than
S5-06 [Overload
Detection Time 2]
.
•
Do a Fault Reset to clear the fault.
•
Set the conditions that trigger detection using
S5-01 [OverL Detect Operation Select 1]
and
S5-04 [OverL Detect Operation Select 2]
.

Light-load Accel 2 Fault (oL6)
The setting for hold level and fault detection level
of Light-load 2 functions are not appropriate.
Output frequency >
S4-08 [Light-load 2 Activation
Freq]
.
Adjust
S4-10 [L-L 2 Motoring Hold Level], S4-12 [L-L 2 Regen
Hold Level]
, and
S4-15 [L-L 2 Fault Detection Level]
settings.
Note:
•
The drive detects this fault if the motor speed is more than the value set in
S4-15
for longer than
S4-16 [L-L 2 Fault Detection Time]
.
•
Do a Fault Reset to clear the fault.
•
Set the conditions that trigger detection of a fault using
S4-14 [L-L 2 Fault Operation Selection]
.

Keypad Connection Fault
The keypad is not securely connected to the
connector on the drive.
Examine the connection between the keypad and the drive.
The connection cable between the drive and the
keypad is disconnected.
•
Remove the keypad and then reconnect it.
•
Replace the cable if damaged.
Note:
•
The drive detects this fault if these conditions are correct:
–
o2-06 = 1 [Keypad Disconnect Detection = Enabled]
.
–
b1-02 = 0 [Run Command Selection 1 = Keypad]
, or the drive is operating in LOCAL Mode with the keypad.
•
Do a Fault Reset to clear the fault.

Overspeed
Overshoot is occurring.
Reduce
C5-01 [ASR Proportional Gain 1]
and increase
C5-02
[ASR Integral Time 1]
.
Note:
•
Detected if the motor speed remains above the value set in
F1-08 [Overspeed Detection Level]
for longer than
F1-09 [Overspeed Detection Delay Time]
.
•
Perform Fault Reset to clear the fault.
•
If detected, the drive will operate the motor according to the stop method set in
F1-03 [Operation Select at Overspeed]
.

Overvoltage
Deceleration time is too short and regenerative
energy is flowing from the motor into the drive.
•
Set
L3-04 = 1 [Stall Prevention during Decel = General
Purpose]
to enable stall prevention.
•
Increase the value set in
C1-02, C1-04, C1-06, or C1-08
[Deceleration Time]
.
•
Connect a dynamic braking option to the drive.
•
Perform Deceleration Rate Auto-Tuning.
The acceleration time is too short.
•
Examine if sudden drive acceleration causes an overvoltage
fault.
•
Increase the value set in
C1-01, C1-03, C1-05, or C1-07
[Acceleration Time]
.
•
Increase the value set in
C2-02 [S-Curve Time @ End of
Accel]
.
