M3 Controller Area Network (CAN)
This chapter contains a general description of the Controller Area Network (CAN) module. CAN is a serial
communications protocol which efficiently supports distributed real-time control with a high level of
reliability. The CAN module supports bit-rates up to 1 Mbit/s and is compliant with the CAN 2.0B protocol
specification.
