6-5 First power-on Check
1. Cycle OFF/ON the system.
2. Check that the message
All devices are ready appears on the screen. If yes proceed to section 7
below.
3. If error messages appear on screen, verify that the various connections are correctly made and refer
to
Job Card TSG A007 - Digital Detector Firmware Corrupted
on page 1015 then proceed to section 7
below.
7 COMPLETION
7-1 Calibrations to Carry Out
Carry out the following calibrations:
7-2 If Stereotaxy Option Present
If the system has the Stereotaxy option, you must perform the required, applicable checks and calibra-
tions listed in
section 7-1 , Calibrations to Carry Out on page 1105 and the following Stereotaxy tasks:
• JC-CAL-A002 - Image Plane to Carbon Cover Distance in the Stereotaxy Service Manual (only for
ADS 53.40).
• Vertical approach (QC Test 2) and lateral approach (QC Test 5) accuracy checks described in the
"Planned Maintenance" section of the Stereotaxy Operator Manual.
You must ask the Operator to perform:
• The necessary biopsy device accuracy checks as described in QC Test 3 and QC Test 4 of the
"Planned Maintenance" section of the Stereotaxy Operator Manual.
• The puncture tool accuracy check as described in QC Test 6 of the "Planned Maintenance" section of
the Stereotaxy Operator Manual.
