Setting the LAN Communication

TRACE 1300 and TRACE 1310 Hardware Manual

Thermo Scientific

Making the LAN Setup



To set the LAN communication

1. Using the LAN RED patch, connect a desktop or laptop PC directly to the RJ45

connector marked

LAN/Ethernet

on the Electronic Module of the GC. See

Figure 54

2. Power on the GC by placing the power switch in the On (up) position marked

3. Power on the PC.

4. Start the

TS1300ST

program to begin the installation on the PC. Follow the instructions

step by step to complete the installation.

5. Run the

TS1300ST

program; the initial page appears and you will be prompted to enter

the password. See

Figure 55

Communication parameters,

and for updating the

Firmware

version on the GC.

Updating the

Firmware

version on the GC must be carried out by a Thermo Fisher

Scientific authorized technical personnel.
