Memory Stick Duo (continued)
You can create a folder by type of data to save them in each folder.
•
As standard folders, a “100_USER” folder is automatically created for “camera album” while an
“unset folder” is automatically created for other data. Voice Recorder has no folder.
The maximum number of items that can be created in the supplied Memory Stick Duo is as follows:
Folders for saving “camera album”: 900
Folders for saving data other than “camera album”: 971 for each data type

Folders for saving data other than “camera album”: 999 for each data type
However, the number of folders that can be created will vary by the capacity of the
Memory Stick Duo.
•
When the Memory Stick Duo runs out of space, no more folders can be created even if the number of
folders created is less than the maximum possible number.
•
The maximum number of folders that can be created includes the “100_USER”, “unset folder”, and
“BACKUP” folders.
•
When folders are created on a PC, be sure to not be possible to create more than the maximum
number of folders, as they cannot be viewed on the mova.

The maximum number of data items that can be saved in the preset Memory Stick Duo is as follows:

This is the total number of folders (excluding the folders created by default) and data items.

The number, however, may vary by the folder configuration.

When multiple data items of received mail, sent/unsent mail, Phonebook, Bookmark, Schedule, and
ToDo List are copied/moved to the
Memory Stick Duo in the following method, they are collected into a
single backup data item and is, therefore, counted as 1 item (see p.489).
